It’s a good idea to check your site for the presence of the default readme.html file. It’s a well known hacker trick to see if your site is out of date, up to date, or is running the most current version of Word Press. If you have this file I suggest that you make a backup of your site and then delete this file. This won’t stop hackers since they can find out very easy if your site if up to date and what you site was built with.
